Fishing Regulations (These regulations are subject to change. The most recent regulations can be found at the Ministry of Natural Resources website and should always be consulted before any fishing trip.) Lake Nipissing is quite unique in the fact that it occupies two regulation zones for one body of water. All of Lake Nipissing falls in Zone 27 in the fishing regulations, other than the area of water that is found in the West Arm of the lake, which falls into Zone 15. Seasonal dates vary for each species and zone. Please check the Ministry Regulations before heading out.
